White Creek returns to the Long Branch at the State Capitol
OK…Listen up y’all - If you are in the area Pierre, SD and you are looking for the best party in town, just head to the Long Branch for the weekend of September 22 & 23. White Creek will be returning to the capitol city for yet another fun filled show. The band has entertained at this venue before and each time has proven to be a great time. White Creek to take the stage at 1st annual Wing Fest
If you are a fan of wings, you can’t miss the first annual Wing Fest to be held in Brookings, SD on August 16, 2006 at the Swiftel Center. White Creek will be entertaining from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. White Creek Plays for a benefit in Toronto, SD

Last Friday, T-man got a call from our good friend Theresa Gordon asking if the band would be willing to perform for a benefit event for Siehera Thibodeau and her family. Siehera is the young lady who has gone through four surgeries already. Her parents Nila & Kevin and her brothers Kevin Jr. and Kyle are the recipients of a new home near Toronto, SD. The home is being built by donations from friends and family and is being supervised by Signature homes for the T.V. show Extreme Makeover Home Edition. read the whole newsletter here

White Creek Band Returns to Gary, SD

The White Creek Band will be performing at the Legion Hall, main street Gary, SD on Friday, November 25, 2005.“The Band is working on raising money for a Nashville trip and wealways have a great crowd in Gary” says bass player BrianGraslie. There will be a cover charge but you will be able to sign up for a guitar autographed by White Creek and have a chance to win other prizes such as White Creek CD’s. Bring all of your friends. 12/18/04 - White Creeks moves to Top Three!
White Creek has been chosen as one of the top three competitors in the Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse Battle of the Bands contest in conjunction with Hot104.7 radio in Sioux Falls. White Creek will be the first band performing on Wednesday night, December 29, 2004 at Bucks. The band would greatly appreciate your support, your dancing and your cheers at Bucks on the 29th.

11/07/04 - Battle of the Bands this Wednesday!
Make sure you see us at Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse in Sioux Falls on Wednesday, November 10th for a Battle of the Bands. We were chosen as one of the twelve out of twenty five acts that will compete for a performance contract from borrowed bucks. We need butts in the seats and cheering from anyone we can get so please forward this letter to all of your friends and join us for some fun. Our goal is to win and possibly use the award money to attend a music festival in Austin, Texas

July 23rd at the Bridlewood Barn at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds, featuring White Creek Band. Gates open at 7:30 for happy hour, White Creek starts at 9. Admisssion is just $3, 21 and older please. Prizes include autographed Tim McGraw Bud Light guitar. All proceeds will benefit the Sioux Empire Red Cross.

05/01/04 - White Creek Opens Again
White Creek will be opening for yet another major act, RICOCHET! Ricochet will be appearing in Ipswich, SD on June 14th for the Trail Days celebration and White Creek will be there to open and also play a street dance that evening. Ipswich is just west of Aberdeen, SD. Ricochet has had number one hits, top ten hits and gold records. They have some great songs such as Love Is Stronger Than Pride, I Can’t Dance, and It’s Allright. See a more complete listing of their tunes at www.ricochetonline.com. 04/01/04 - White Creek to open for Chris LeDoux
White Creek will be opening the show for the one and only Chris LeDoux at the W.H. Lyons Fair Grounds in Sioux Falls on July 3rd, 2004!! I don’t think there is anybody out there who doesn’t know who Chris LeDoux is but just in case, he has done a ton of great songs including “County Fair”, “Hooked on an eight second ride,” and one of my personal favorites, “Riding for a fall”. Being a former rodeo rider, Chris has first hand insight on the material he sings.

01/18/04 - White Creek to open the shows at the Winstock Festival at Winsted, MN!!
This just in… White Creek was just hired to open the shows at the Winstock Festival at Winsted, MN!! This event is really a ton of fun. You camp out for a couple days and listen to some great artists like Phil Vassar (our good luck charm) and Caroline Dawn Johnson (our good luck babe!), Montgomery Gentry, The Oak Ridge Boys, Jimmy Wayne and Tracy Byrd to name a few. 10/26/03 - New White Creek Band CD is available:
The long awaited White Creek Band CD is now available. They can be ordered online by visiting the Merchandise page or at our next performance. The CD's are a limited edition series because it is just the CD (the covers are still being worked on) and we only have a hundred of them. Get one while you can only $15 per CD!

08/16/03 - White Creek Wins at Local Colgate Country Showdown:
One of this year’s Colgate Country Showdown competitions was held at Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse in Sioux Falls, SD. on August 16th. Seven acts consisting of four individuals and three bands competed in a very challenging bid for the act that would move on to the state competition to be held on September 6th at the Royal River Casino in Flandreau, SD. White Creek was fortunate enough to come out ahead of the pack and won the competition. (read the current newsletter here for more information about the Showdown)

08/01/03 - Opportunitys Abound in August 2003:
White Creek will travel to or through five states in August! The band will travel through Minnesota and Wisconsin to perform in Michigan on the second week end of the month. This will be the farthest journey as of yet for the band. Before leaving, the band entertains at the Sioux Empire Fair in Sioux Falls, SD prior to the Keith Urban/Phil Vassar concert. (“I really like this Phil Vassar fellow, he brings us good luck!”--P) Upon returning, White Creek will compete as previously noted at the Colgate Country Showdown in Sioux Falls. Then it’s a trip south through Iowa and on to the Nebraska State fair to entertain in Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday, August 30th. 07/28/03 - Colgate Country Showdown:
White Creek has been chosen as one of the eight acts who have made it through the elimination round and will be competing in the Colgate Country Showdown to be held on Saturday, August 16th at Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse in Sioux Falls at 3:30 in the afternoon. Please come on out and listen to some great acts but cheer the loudest when White Creek is done playing!! As always, thank you for your support!

07/10/03 - Mailing List Sign Up:
Our awesome webmaster (SiteKing) has set up a new way for our fans to join our Mailing List. Since this is new, everyone that is currently on the mailing list will need to resign up. It is very easy. Just go to the subscribe page, fill in your name and email then follow the directions that you will receive in your email and you will be all set up.

07/08/03 - Computer Glitch Rains on CD Parade:
Well folks, we regretfully bring you some bad news about our current CD and the progress we are making on it. Due to a computer glitch at the studio, we have been forced to halt production. The CD is in mix down stages so it is pretty much in the hands of Leland and Skip and their computer repair person. As soon as their computer is repaired, I am very certain that our progress will resume so we can bring you the very first White Creek CD. We will keep you posted through the newsletters and also with the electronic public service announcements. Thanks very much for your patience. -P

05/17/03 - White Creek to Play at Royal River Casino:
The White Creek Band based in eastern South Dakota has been asked to join the ranks of numerous professional entertainers who have performed at the Royal River Casino in Flandreau, SD. The band will perform September 19th and 20th, 2003. Please plan on attending! The performance establishes another feather in the wings of our dreams. 03/29/03 - New CD Coming Soon:
White Creek has been working on a new CD for a while now. They spent the whole warm, sunny Saturday last weekend in the sound proof rooms of Gopher Studio in Watertown, SD. They used that day to make their CD sound perfect and changing things along the way to make it even better. Check out the "Pictures" page for more recording in action.

They have written all of their own original music and currently have two songs on CD for sale. Those songs can be heard here on the website's "Music" page, after listening you can then purchase their Sneak Peak CD on the "Merch" page.

White Creek is the headline band for the Annual Brookings, SD Arts in the Park on July 13, 2003 and the band hopes to have the CD out before that day, so stop by, say hi and buy their new CD. Their two Sneak Peak songs can be heard on many radio stations around the area including their great sponsor KCountry 102.3. Please call your local station and request the White Creek Band and if they don't have White Creek just contact us and we will send them the CD.

01/31/03 - White Creek Opens for Phil Vassar Concert:
